Prompt publication of brief reports of important discoveries in physics may be secured by addressing them to this department. Closing dates for this department are, for the first issue of the month, the eighteenth of tke preceding month, for the second issue, the third of tke month. Rhodium(II) metallopeptides display useful secondary structure, self-assembly, and catalytic activity. The bis-peptide complexes exhibit subtle orientational isomerism that affects function, but is challenging to characterize. We report that pyrene excimer fluorescence measurements provide a conclusive proof of isomeric structure.
